MASALTOS.COM TEAM: NOT EVERYTHING IS A SHOE BUSINESS #3

Working with David Shao Chy is very enriching. It is enough to cross with him some words to realize that he loves the shoes and treats them with great care. His way of being makes him always willing to offer his assistance. David is the logistic manager of Masaltos.com, so all transport, storage and distribution requires his prior approval. Maybe this is why he likes motorcycles so much.

What do you do at Masaltos.com?

I am in charge of warehouse management: the preparation of the shipments, the presentation of the shoes, the adjustment of insoles in case of dissymmetry, etc.

I also like working in customer service a lot because, among other things, I speak three languages.

What do you like most about your work at Masaltos.com?

What I like most about my job is to know that I help our clients with dissymmetry when I adjust the insoles to their needs, which does not only contribute aesthetically but also improving their health. This part of the work has a very important subjective component, because it is very rewarding.

What do you think has been your best moment in this company?

I have it clear. A client who drove 1000 km just for me to adjust his Masaltos shoes due to a dissymmetry problem he had, and once adjusted, he thanked me with tears in his eyes.

There is nothing better than the feeling of having helped someone.

What is your favourite Masaltos.com shoe?

The shoe model Bergen. In fact, I use it myself and our CEO also does. Lol.

If you could fulfill your dream of “having a coffee with someone famous”, who would you choose and why?

If I could really choose one, it would be the Spiderman. Or rather with Peter Parker. Hahaha. However, if I have to be realistic, I would go for Derren Brown, by the way maybe he would tell me some of his tricks.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Watch a good movie.

Make a wish.

Sleep eight hours in a row (I’m a father)
